Lower Saint Lawrence Museum

The Lower Saint Lawrence Museum’s mission is conservation, research, dissemination and education. Its fields of special interest are Quebec contemporary art, Eastern Quebec ethnological photography and the artistic production of Lower Saint Lawrence artists.

The contemporary Art programming presents significant Quebec artists, regional artists and exhibitions assembled from the museum’s collection that comprises over 3000 works of art. Moreover, the multimedia interactiveIntersections exhibition and the multimedia show called “The dream of … blind photographer Ulric Lavoie”, constitute the heart of the Museum’s ethnological programming.
